Our Home Groom DIY dog grooming course is suitable for anyone. This workshop is hands-on and aimed to give pet owners the basic skills needed to groom their own dog at home.
Most people are reluctant about grooming their own dogs for fear of hurting or cutting them - accidents do happen even to professionals - but at KT's Dog & Cat Grooming Academy we aim to give you some tips on avoiding these issues and how to deal with them if they occur. We aim to deliver a well-rounded grooming experience for both you and your pet in a warm and friendly environment for all. |

Course Structure
Saturday (no dog required)Our Trainer will do a step by step grooming demonstration on a demonstration dog and also conduct a theory talk of basic grooming including Health and Safety.

Sunday (Required to bring your dog)You will complete a full groom on your own dog.

What do I need
Your Dog (must have current vaccination, worming and flea control).
No aggressive dogs, if you are unsure please speak with our friendly staff and we may have to assess first.
Pen and paper.
Attire – Please come in comfortable clothing, closed in rubber soled shoes.
